Next Costume
The next costume block is located in the Looks block panel and can be found in many animation scripts where sprites showcase a wide range of movements or expressions. When used, the block allows you to transition the selected sprite’s costume to the next one in the Costumes pane.

The Scratch sprite library is full of a variety of characters. You can use sprites from the library or create your own original sprite using the Scratch Paint Editor tools, by remixing and reimagining the sprites in the library or uploading a drawing.
Did you know, in Scratch, each sprite costume has a costume center (a center point that determines how sprites rotate, align when they “go to” each other, position themselves, etc.)?
